This original painting depicts a ruined cottage hidden among the heather in the heart of the Wicklow Gap. Once somebody’s home, it was a small, safe place surrounded by the wild mountain landscape.
Now it still stands quietly among the heather, holding its stories and inviting those who pass by to pause for a moment, reflect, and acknowledge the lives and times that have gone before.
